About Joleen

Born and raised in Alaska, Joleen Brooks comes from a commercial fishing family in Bristol Bay, where hard work and resilience were a way of life. In 1999, her family relocated to Homer, where she has proudly built both her personal and professional roots.

Joleen began her real estate career in 2004 as an office manager and quickly discovered her passion for the industry. Encouraged by her broker, she earned her real estate license in 2006 and has been serving clients ever since. Her background in lending and insurance provides clients with valuable insight and a well-rounded perspective throughout every step of the transaction.

A two-time Realtor of the Year recipient, Joleen also holds the GRI (Graduate, REALTOR® Institute) designation, demonstrating her commitment to professionalism, continuing education, and exceptional client service. She has proudly served the Kachemak Board of REALTORS® in numerous leadership roles, including two terms as President, reflecting her dedication to both the profession and her local community.

Joleen primarily serves Homer, Anchor Point, Voznesenka, Nikolaevsk, and Ninilchik, but her Alaska real estate license allows her to assist buyers and sellers throughout the entire state.
